With extro you define break models to standardize paid and unpaid breaks. For each break model, you specify whether break time is deducted from working time or counts as working time. Configuration is managed centrally and can be applied individually to employees.
Procedure
- Open Settings → Break models
- Use «+» to add a new break model
- Assign a unique and meaningful name
e.g. Standard 30 min, Construction CBA, Management - Confirm with OK
- Define break time
- Open the newly created break model
- using «+» to add a break
- Enter start and end time
- Specify whether the break is paid:
- Enabled → Break counts as working time
- Disabled → Break is deducted from working time
- Save
Add additional breaks
Repeat the process if multiple breaks apply per day
e.g. morning and lunch breaks
Effect of the break model
- The break model automatically controls the calculation of working time
- Paid breaks increase recorded working time
- Unpaid breaks are deducted from presence time
- The model can be assigned to employees individually
