Define work types

Work types are used in extro for time tracking on projects.
Only work types assigned to a project can be selected when tracking time.
In addition, the billable price is stored for each work type.

Procedure

1. Open Settings → Company → Work types

2. Use “+” to add a new work type and enter the following details:

   1. Title of the new work type

   2. Priceto be billed externally

   3. Key
      The key must match the work code number in Xpandit .
      (e.g. regular working hours according to the payroll or accounting system).

   4. Default in projects 
      Activate this so that the work type can be selected in projects .

3. Save

Note

• The stored price is billed externally.

• Only activated work types are available for selection in time tracking .

• A clearly defined key is required for accurate reports and billing.
