Description
When editing a job, the time spent can be recorded directly in the job. There are several ways to record time, depending on whether the time is started live, entered manually, or assigned to a service item.
Time recording options
1. Start recording
Using Start in the “Record time” bar, time recording can be started directly.
Before recording time, the appropriate work / service must be selected.
This option automatically starts time recording for the currently logged-in user.
2. Add time entry
Under Work, a manual time entry can be recorded using +.
Depending on the form, the following details can be entered, among others:
- Completion date
- Worker (required field)
- Description
- Discount in %
- Net turn net on/off turn net on/off
- Record work effort in hours record
- Show entry turn on/off
3. Add service item
In addition, a service item can be added.
This is useful when the effort is to be recorded directly as a billable service on the job.
Who can record time?
The person responsible can:
- record time for themselves
- record time for employees
Important notes
- Before recording time, the appropriate work / service must be selected.
- Recording can be done either as hours worked or using a running timer .
- Descriptions make it easier to understand the entry later.
